Security Center Interview Room is a software application that is installed on a Security Center server and Security Desk workstations.

Components of an Interview Room deployment

  1. Control console

    Interview rooms can include hardware controls. These optional inputs, such as buttons or switches, are integrated with the application to control your recordings from the room. Inputs can be used to start or stop interview sessions, and mute audio recordings.

  2. Cameras and microphones

    Security Center supports a wide range of recording equipment. See our supported device list. These mandatory devices are integrated with the application to provide audio and video evidence. Recordings can be configured to start automatically with an interview session, and to stop when the session is complete.

  3. Security Desk

    The Interview Room application is installed on one or more Security Desk workstations. From Security Desk, operators can control interview sessions, watch live and recorded video, add notes, and so on.

  4. Interview Room application

    The Interview Room application is installed on a Security Center server and runs as a plugin role.

    Config Tool

    The Interview Room application is also installed on one or more Config Tool workstations. The Security Center administrator uses Config Tool to create and configure the plugin role.

  5. Connection to Genetec Clearance™

    The Interview Room application is connected to a Genetec Clearance™ account. With Genetec Clearance™, you can:

    • Collect your digital evidence in one centralized location
    • Manage who has access to the system and to case information
    • Simplify investigations by collaborating with users
    • Secure case information
    • Find cases and files easily within the system
