[KBA-00752] GE StoreSafe Pro ADV shows "Waiting for signal" in Live Viewer
This article explains why the GE StoreSafe Pro ADV shows Waiting for signal in the Live Viewer in Omnicast™.
When attempting to view a StoreSafe Pro ADV in Omnicast™, Live Viewer shows Waiting for signal. Other DVRs, such as the StoreSafe Pro and StoreSafe Pro II, do not exhibit this problem.
Omnicast™ does not use the correct compression type for this specific model.
A hotfix is available for Omnicast™ 4.7 SR1 HIP2 (HF1058). Contact the Genetec™ Technical Assistance Center to obtain it.
This issue is fixed in Omnicast™ 4.8 SR1.
