[KBA-76669] How to perform a clean re-install of the Sipelia™ Server

This article explains how to perform a clean re-install of the Sipelia™ Server.

Procedure

If you need to perform a clean reinstall of , do the following:
  1. Delete the video archives as follows:
    1. From Config Tool, open the Plugins task and select Sipelia™.
    2. Click the Recording tab, and then check the Recording folder for the location of the video archives.
    3. Go to the video archives and delete the folder.
  2. Delete the Sipelia™ database as follows:
    1. From Config Tool, open the Plugins task and select Sipelia™.
    2. Click the Resources tab, and then click Delete the database.
  3. Delete the Sipelia™ role as follows:
    1. From Config Tool, open the System task, and then click the Roles view.
    2. Right-click the Sipelia™ role and select Delete.
  4. Uninstall Sipelia™ Server from your system.
  5. Uninstall RabbitMQ from the server.
  6. Delete the folder Genetec Sipelia from C:\Program Files (x86).
  7. Delete the folder Genetec Sipelia from C:\ProgramData.
  8. Delete the folder RabbitMQ Server from C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86).
  9. Remove all the files and folders found in C:\Users\X\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ. If you receive the message You need permission to perform this action, delete all the files within the folders first, and then delete the empty folders.
    NOTE: In the file path C:\Users\X\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ, X corresponds to the user account that was used when RabbitMQ was originally installed.
  10. Restart the server.
  11. Install Sipelia™ Server.
