Known issues are software issues that have been discovered in the current release or a previous release, and have not yet been resolved.
Synergis™ Softwire 10.9 GA includes the following known issues:
|AA IP||956660||When opening a door that has an assigned door sensor, no Entry detected or Entry assumed events are generated.|
|AA IP||756219||When a door is unlocked using passage mode, it does not relock if a threat level is set with security clearance.|
|AA IP||543039||Px-type locks: The door relocks immediately after it is opened, during unlock
Workaround: Set the Door relock option to On close. The AA IP door with Door relock option set to On close relocks after access grant time elapses if the door is held open.
Center 5.7 SR2, when a
hardware zone arming input goes into a Trouble state, it leaves
the zone in a state where some other transition events might no longer work.
Workaround: Set the arming input to a normal state, then make it active again to rearm the zone after the input enters a trouble state.
|All||778548||A Synergis™ unit cannot be enrolled using its hostname if the system is in DHCP mode and IPv6 is enabled.|
|All||772705||I/O zones are not shown in the correct state if the interfaces in use are created after the Peer-to-peer option has been activated.|
|All||501173||Sometimes, there is a 5-second delay between a card swipe and the response from the Synergis™ unit.|
|Axis||780112||Door open too long events are duplicated if the event occurs while the unit is offline.|
|Axis||771427||When access is denied while the unit is offline, only a generic Access denied event is reported when the unit returns online. The reason for the denied access is lost.|
|Axis||770642||Doors set to Card and PIN do not generate any event after a PIN entry timeout if no PIN is entered.|
|Axis||727550||Axis A1001: Outputs are shown as Active in Config Tool when a door is opened and set to relock n seconds after opening, even though the outputs are in the Normal state.|
|Axis||724776||Axis A1001: Card reads are lost when the Axis unit transitions from online to offline, meaning the Axis unit is disconnected from the Synergis™ unit.|
|Axis||691063||Axis A1001: If the Door forced option is turned off and the Axis unit is disconnected from the Synergis™ unit, the card reader still beeps when the door is forced open.|
|Axis||691056||Config Tool: Axis OSDP readers are shown as Wiegand readers in the Peripherals tab.|
|Axis||654656||The OSDP reader state will not be displayed as offline when the connection is lost between the reader and the Axis controller.|
|Mercury||2047093||Mercury EP1502: OSDP readers set to Card and PIN do not beep when a card is presented.|
|Mercury||1958812||Mercury EP: If no access rule is assigned to the door, presenting a valid credential to a reader in Card or PIN mode will trigger an Access denied event, and presenting a valid credential to a reader in Card and PIN mode will cause the reader to time out.|
|Mercury||1957490||Mercury EP: When Auxiliary Authentication Mode is enabled, cardholders with a long credential cannot have more than one credential.|
|Mercury||1957467||Mercury EP4502 with TI EntryPoint plugin and Veridt PIV reader: Presenting a valid card triggers reader errors.|
|Mercury||1756814||Mercury EP: Maximum PIN length defaults to 6 instead of matching the unit-wide setting.|
|Mercury||1537207||Mercury MS-ACS interface: The interface is not upgraded when upgrading downstream interfaces.|
|Mercury||1350397||Allegion Schlage AD-400 or LE: In apartment mode, an Access granted event while the door is closed and locked enables apartment mode, but the door does not remain unlocked.|
|Mercury||1005156||Mercury EP connected to SIOv3 downstream board: When an event-to-action is configured to trigger a pulse on an output, the output does not return to the Normal state after the configured pulse time has passed.|
|Mercury||786374||Non-strict antipassback rules are not applied correctly on captive areas. Cardholders cannot enter a captive area after they have left the parent area.|
|Mercury||783135||Credentials longer than 52 bits might be read incorrectly.|
|Nexus||1860235||Nexus readers in secure mode do not pair when connected directly to a Synergis™ unit.|
