If you need to store a camera's video recordings for longer than the default of 7 days, you can change the retention period on the camera's edit page.

Before you begin

The client account must be Active and the camera's state must be Active or Enrolled.

What you should know

By default, each Stratocast™ plan includes 7 days of video storage. Additional retention days beyond the default are offered at different rates depending on the plan you have. For pricing information, go to www.stratocast.com/plans.

Procedure

  1. Click Clients and then, from the Number of devices column, click the client account that the device is added to.
  2. On the client's Devices page, under the Subscription section, click Extend and enter the number of days .
  3. If you want to revert to the default number of days, click Reset to default retention period.
  4. Click Save, or navigate back to exit the page and cancel your changes.

Results

If you click Save, the State field changes from Updating to Enrolled. The changes to the camera settings are saved.
