[KBA-01242] ACTi ACM 7411 units appear offline after migration to Security Center 5.2

This article explains why ACTi ACM 7411 units are displayed as offline after migrating from Omnicast™ to Security Center 5.2.

Summary

After migrating from Omnicast™ to Security Center 5.2, ACTi ACM-7411 units are shown to be offline (in red). Their components (cameras, inputs, and so on) are also shown to be offline. However, one output might be displayed as being online. Attempting to re-add the unit results in only the output being added.

More Information

A firmware issue causes this error.

Remove the unit from Security Center (keeping the Archives if desired), upgrade the unit’s firmware to 3.11.13 or later using the ACTi IP utility, and then add the unit to Security Center.
