[KBA-01080] “Waiting for signal” when viewing a Siqura encoder hosted on a public network
This article explains why users see a Waiting for signal message when attempting to view a camera connected to a Siqura encoder that is on a public network.
If you have a Siqura encoder that is on a public network, when you try to view a camera that is connected to it in Live Viewer, you receive a Waiting for signal message.
The encoder is added to Omnicast™ using its public IP address, but the RTSP requests are sent to the private IP address of the camera.
Upgrade the Siqura encoder's firmware to v4.6.0 or higher.
