To prepare your Quanergy M1 Edge devices for integration with Security Center, you must configure the Quanergy system to communicate with the RSA Surveillance plugin. For specific details about configuring your devices and software, refer to the Quanergy documentation.

Before you begin

  • Make sure that your Quanergy system is operating as per the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Make sure that your Quanergy devices and software are compatible with the RSA Surveillance plugin. For the latest compatibility information, see Supported plugins in Security Center on the Genetec TechDoc Hub.
NOTE: If you are using a Quanergy M8 device, see Preparing your Quanergy system for integration with Security Center.

Procedure

  1. Make sure that the M1 Edge device is configured and working properly.
  2. (Optional) Configure the detection zone that will be imported into the RSA Surveillance plugin.
  3. Note the IP address of the M1 Edge device. You will need it later to configure the plugin.

After you finish

Add your Quanergy M1 Edge lidar as a tracking system to Security Center.
