To add a C-One² mobile reader in Security Center, you must create a RIO device by configuring a channel, interface, and reader label on the
RIO page of your Synergis™ Cloud Link unit in
Config
Tool.
What you should know
- You can control and monitor the C-One² readers using the Synergis™ RIO API.
- Unit Hardware pages in Config
Tool are not supported in hosted Synergis™ SaaS edition deployments. To create RIO devices,
you must use the RIO API instead.
- You must configure one reader for each mustering area in Security Center. For more information, see Configuring areas for mustering using.
