To trigger a report when an event occurs, you must configure an event-to-action in Security Center.

Before you begin

Create forms.

Procedure

  1. Create a macro that will trigger forms.
  2. Create event-to-actions, using the macro you created to launch forms. For more information on creating event-to-actions, see Creating event-to-actions.
When an event-to-action occurs and a form is triggered, the new form icon in the Security Desk tray displays that there is a form to be completed.

  3. Click the new form icon.
The Dynamic Log Book report task opens, displaying a list of unfilled reports in the reporting pane.
  4. Select the form related to the event-to-action, complete it, and click Save.

After you finish

  • To modify the form, click Edit, make your modifications, and click Save.
  • To archive the report, click the Archive button.
  • To print the report, click the Print button.
