Creating BACnet data point rules - Industrial Protocol Interface 3.0

After creating a BACnet data point, you can add rules to it from the Read-only data points page.

1. In the Rules list, click Add ().
   The Create readable data point rule window opens.
2. Configure the following values:

   When

   The source entity that raises the event to trigger the rule.

   Raises

   The entity that will trigger the rule.

   Set value to

   The value of the rule that results from the raised event.

   NOTE: The Set value to value will be boolian or string-based, depending on the data point.

   
3. Click Add.
