The Office Manager module uses data from your access control units to let you visualize, manage and monitor your office space in Security Center.

Components of Office Manager integration
- Security Desk
- The Office Manager module is installed on all Security Desk workstations. Security Desk operators can create dashboard widgets to see visual reports on the attendance, occupancy, capacity, and use of the office space. They can also monitor desk and conference room entities on a map.
- Config Tool
- The Security Center administrator uses Config Tool to create and configure the plugin roles, desk entities, and conference room entities.
- Security Center Directory server
- The Directory server hosts the Office Desks, Office Conference Rooms, and Office Analytics plugin roles.
- Security Center expansion server
- An expansion server is any server machine in a Security Center system that does not host the Directory role. The purpose of the expansion server is to add to the processing power of the system. The Traffic Sensor Management plugin runs on a Security Center expansion server to avoid affecting the performance of the Directory.
- Office Desks plugin
- The Office Desks plugin is installed on a Security Center Directory server and runs as a plugin role. With this plugin, Security Center administrators can create and configure desk entities.
- Office Analytics plugin
- The Office Analytics plugin is installed on a Security Center Directory server and runs as a plugin role. It provides the analytic used to calculate desk occupancy.
- Office Conference Rooms plugin
- The Office Conference Rooms plugin is installed on a Security Center Directory server and runs as a plugin role. With this plugin, Security Center administrators can create and configure conference room entities.
- Alerts Manager plugin
- The Alerts Manager plugin is installed on a Security Center Directory server and runs as a plugin role. With this plugin, Security Center operators can create alerts to be notified when the occupancy of an area passes a threshold.
- Security Center Traffic Sensor Management
- The Traffic Sensor Management plugin is installed on an Security Center expansion server and runs as a plugin
role. This is an optional add-on for the Office Managermodule, used for managing the occupancy of areas where access
control readers are not installed.
With this plugin, Security Center administrators can create and configure instrumented areas, which are used to in managing conference room entities.
