Components of the Travel Times integration

Security Center Travel Times plugin
The Security Center Travel Times plugin is installed on a Security Center server and runs as a plugin role.
Config Tool
The Security Center Travel Times plugin is also installed on a Config Tool workstation. The Security Center administrator uses Config Tool to create and configure the plugin role.
Security Desk
The Security Center Travel Times plugin is installed on all Security Desk workstations. Security Desk operators can monitor integrated vehicle systems, offload data and video, and generate reports on offloads and metadata.
Security Center Travel Times Engine
With the Travel Times Engine, you can calculate different travel times throughout your organization by using different methods and algorithms available.
Vehicle detection devices
The Travel Times Engine can gather travel time data using vehicle detection devices. By using Bluetooth sensing, license plate recognition, or long-range RFIDs, the Travel Times Engine can identify specific vehicles at multiple points on a traffic route.
3rd party data
The Travel Times Engine can gather travel time data using third-party data. The Travel Times Engine uses data from third-party providers such as Google Maps and Azure Maps.
