To ensure that Security Center communicates with the MorphoManager system, you must configure the IDEMIA Biometrics plugin role and the MorphoManager server connection.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the Plugins task.
  2. Select the IDEMIA Biometrics plugin from the entity browser, and then click the Properties tab.
  3. From the list of Wiegand formats, select a Security Center card format that matches the format defined in the Wiegand profile that you created in MorphoManager.
    NOTE:
    • If you created custom card formats in Security Center, they appear in the Wiegand format list.
    • The Any undefined format represents a card format that is unknown in Security Center. If you have a format in MorphoManager that does not match one of the default card formats, you can select Any undefined format, but it is best to create a matching custom card format in Security Center.
    • If you do not select a card format, you will not see any credentials later when you are enrolling biometric devices.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. In the Resources tab, do the following:
    1. From the Database list, select the SQL database that was created to communicate with BioBridge.
IMPORTANT: If there is a password policy in effect, the integration can stop working without notice if it is unable to log into the database. If the password needs to be changed, you must update the password in the MorphoManager SQL DSN to ensure the integration continues to operate.
    2. From the Authentication list, select an authentication type.
    3. Enter the user name and password.
NOTE: If you are using SQL authentication, enter the login credentials. If you are using Windows authentication, be sure that the user running the Genetec™ Server service on the role server has access rights on the database.
    4. Click Apply.
