A Wiegand profile defines the information that is output over the Wiegand Out interface of a Morpho biometric device when a user is identified. Because Security Center requires all data from the credential, you must create a custom Wiegand profile in MorphoManager to capture the entire credential as a card number.

What you should know

  • CAUTION:
The following instructions must be followed precisely and in the exact order listed below, or the integration will not work.
  • IMPORTANT: The Wiegand format selected in Properties page of the plugin role must have the same number of bits as the Wiegand profile created for Security Center cardholders in MorphoManager.

Procedure

  1. In MorphoManager, navigate to Administration > Wiegand Profiles.
  2. Click Add.
  3. In the Name field, enter a name for the Wiegand profile. For example: "Security Center credential".
  4. In the Bit Length field, enter the total number of bits on the credential.
  5. Click Next.
  6. In the Wiegand Elements section, click Add and select User.
  7. In the Name field, enter a user name.
  8. In the Length field, enter the bit length you selected for the credential.
  9. Click Next, and then click Finish.
