The following numbers and codebooks are required to run the Medeco XT plugin 3.1.0.
- System number
- A five-digit number unique to each system. This number is engraved on the USB dongle
purchased from Medeco. NOTE: Keys and cylinders can only be used with a single system. During importation, only codebooks that match this number can be used.
- System code signature
- A system credential used to validate codebook integrity. This code signature is generated by Medeco after the purchase of the system dongle and entered manually during plugin configuration.
- Master PIN
- A system credential used to authenticate the USB dongle. This PIN is generated by Medeco after the purchase of the system dongle and entered manually during plugin configuration.
- .kbk codebook
- A file that contains security requirements and descriptions of keys. This file is generated by Medeco when purchasing keys.
- .lbk codebook
- A file that contains security requirements and descriptions of locks. This file is generated by Medeco when purchasing cylinders.
