To ensure that events and video have accurate time stamps, the date and time must be the same on the receivers, the intrusion panels, and the Security Center server that hosts the Intrusion Manager role. You can synchronize the time of DMP receivers from Security Center.

What you should know

For devices by manufacturers other than DMP, consult the manufacturer's documentation to learn how to set the date and time on those devices.

When automatic time synchronization is on, the extension sets the time on the receiver every day at 2:30 A.M., which ensures that the time on the receiver is always accurate.

You can also set the time immediately using the Set receiver time button. The button is independent of the Set time automatically switch.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool home page, open the Intrusion detection task.
  2. In the entity tree, select the DMP alarm receiver.
  3. Click the Properties tab.
  4. In the Specific configuration section, switch Set time automatically to ON.
  5. Click Apply.
    Tip: To set the time on the receiver immediately, click the Set receiver time button.
