To use your Medeco XT keys, you must assign schedules and access rules to them.
What you should know
For information on configuring schedules and creating access rules, see Creating schedules and Creating access rules
Supported schedules
- Daily
- From the Time coverage drop-down list choose All
day for a 24-hour time period or choose Range to
select a continuous block of time for every day of the week. See the following example for a daily schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM:
- Weekly
- Select continuous blocks of time for selected days of the week using the time grid.
See the following examples of accepted weekly schedules:
- Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Unsupported schedules
- Ordinal
- Time constraints for situations that include a series of repetitive patterns, each
with a different time coverage. For example, a schedule that covers the daytime hours
of every Monday of the year.
- Specific
- Time constraints for situations that occur on specific dates, where each date can have
a different time coverage For example, a schedule that covers a time range from a few hours before a selected date to a few hours after the date.
- Noncontinuous time blocks
- Schedules that have interrupted time blocks. For example, a weekly schedule from 9:00
AM to 5:00 PM, from Monday to Friday, with a half-hour break between 12:00 PM and
12:30 PM:
Access rules for Medeco XT keys
- Each key can have multiple access rules.
- All of the access rules on a key must have the same schedule.
This example shows two access rules that you can assign to the same key because their
schedules are the same, and the schedule is a supported option; Daily for a continuous block
of time.
