The fallback data sink is used to retain the read IDs of the ALPR ingestion service reads when they are not connected to a database sink. The fallback data sink is necessary for the reports and the Record Fusion queries to work.

Before you begin

Configure data sinks.

Procedure

  1. From the Data sinks tab, navigate to the Fallback data sink section.
  2. In the Interval field, define a time period after which the fallback data sink is queried for data.
  3. In the Retries field, define the number of times the fallback data sink retries obtaining the data.
  4. In the Batch size field, determine the number of reads that are included in each export.
  5. Click Apply.

After you finish

Configure database cleanup.
