You can configure Sipelia™ to enable SRTP
using the SipServer.config file.
What you should know
The SRTP setting should be used with TLS encryption enabled to secure the
connection and the data exchange between the server and the client. The available modes are:
- None
- Prefer (recommended protocol if supported)
- Force (forces the server to use SRTP)
Procedure

Deactivate the Sipelia™ Plugin
role.
In the Plugins task, right-click the Sipelia™ Plugin and select
Maintenance > Deactivate
role.

Open the Sipelia™ Server configuration
file (C:\ProgramData\Genetec
Sipelia\SipServer\SipServer.config).

Change the value of the
SrtpMode to Force.

Activate the Sipelia™ plugin
role.
In the
Plugins task, right-click the
Sipelia™ Plugin and select
Maintenance >
Activate
role.
NOTE: Security Desk Sipelia™ clients automatically use the
same SRTP setting as the server.
