If you are experiencing communication issues with a variable message sign, check the Server Admin logger for errors.

  1. From the Genetecâ„¢ Server Admin, select the server running the Digital Signage Management plugin.
  2. Next to the server name, click the Actions list, and select Console.
  3. Click Loggers, and in the Active loggers list, add the following string: Genetec.ITS.DMS.Server.CommsLogger.
  4. In Config Tool, right-click the DSM entity and select Put in passive mode.
  5. Check the Server Admin logger for errors.
