Before you can monitor variable message signs in Security Center, you must add them to the plugin role as DMS entities.

What you should know

Michat and Daktronics model integrations are intended mainly for placeholder occupancy messages and have limited functionality by design. For more information, consult your sign manufacturer's documentation.

Procedure

  1. From the Config Tool homepage, open the Area view task.
  2. Click Add an entity () and select DMS.
  3. In the Add DMS window, from the Model list, select the model of your integration.
  4. In the Name field, enter a name for the sign and click OK.

After you finish
