Configuring areas monitored by Synergis IX - After creating the areas monitored by Synergis™ IX controllers, you must configure their associated inputs and outputs in Synergis™ IX Portal. - Australia and New Zealand only

After creating the areas monitored by Synergis™ IX controllers, you must configure their associated inputs and outputs in Synergis™ IX Portal.

1. From the Synergis IX Portal, open the Wizards view and click Security Wizard.
   
2. Configure the outputs associated to each area:

   Bell Output and Time

   The output that is triggered when the area alarm is activated and the time it is activated for.

   Entry Delay Output and Time

   The output that is activated whenever the area goes into entry delay and the time users are given to disarm the area before an alarm is triggered.

   Exit Delay Output and Time

   The output that is activated whenever the area goes into exit delay and the time users are given to exit the area before an alarm is triggered.

3. Click Save and Continue.
   The wizard lists all inputs managed by your Synergis IX controller.

   
4. Rename inputs for easier identification.
5. For each input:
   1. Set End of Line Resistors as per the EOL wiring configuration.
   2. Set Input Type and Area.
      Input type defines how an input operates in an area.
   3. Click Save and continue.
6. Configure off-site monitoring.
   Click Save and Return to Menu.
