Genetec Patroller™ uses a local database and stores some files on disk. To protect the Patroller database, configure Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) in SQL Server.

NOTE: The version of SQL Server that is provided with Patroller does not support Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
