If access control cards are being used to access a deister proxSafe locker,
in Security Center you must indicate which card
formats are valid.
What you should know
- Multiple card formats can be used to access assets from a deister proxSafe locker. However, cardholders can only have one card
format synchronized with the locker.
- If the system contains multiple Wiegand credential formats with the same number
of bits, they might be displayed identically by the plugin. For example, the HID
H10302 37 Bits format and HID H10304 37 Bits format are both displayed as
37 bit Wiegand in the list of eligible card
formats.
Procedure
-
From the Config
Tool home page, open the
Plugins task.
-
In the Plugins task, select the plugin role from the
entity browser, and click the Properties tab.
-
In the Card formats section, select card types from the
Security Center card
formats list, and click to add it to the Card
formats used by deister proxSafe locker list.
The
Security Center card
formats list shows the card formats supported by
Security Center. For more information on how
to add card formats, see the
Credentials chapter in the
Security Center Administrator
Guide.
-
Select a card format from the Card formats used by deister proxSafe
locker list and click to move it to
the top of the list to establish its priority.
NOTE: If a cardholder has multiple cards that are compatible with the locker,
the card with the format that appears highest in the Card formats
used by deister proxSafe locker list will be the card that
unlocks the proxSafe locker.
-
Click Apply.
