Configuring Panasonic Smart Coding - Security Center 5.10.4.0

To use Panasonic Smart Coding, you must configure the Image capture mode on the unit's web page, and select VBR (variable bit rate) as the Bit rate priority in Config Tool.

1. Open the unit’s web page.
2. Click Setup > Image/Audio.
3. Select an Image capture mode and click Set.
4. Add the unit to Security Center.
5. From the entity tree, select the camera and then click the Video tab.
6. In the Bit rate priority field, select VBR.
   The Smart Codec option appears.
7. Beside Smart Codec, select On.
8. Click Apply.
