If you cannot connect a SharpZ3 to Genetec Patroller™, you can troubleshoot the issue.
Before you begin
Procedure
- Verify that you can ping the SharpZ3 unit.
- Verify that the SharpZ3 extension is set to Patroller. For more information, see Configuring where the SharpZ3 sends its ALPR data.
- Verify that the SharpZ3 unit network settings have been properly configured. For more information, see About SharpZ3 network settings.
- Verify that the SharpZ3 time is synchronized with the Patroller in-vehicle server. For more information, see Synchronizing the SharpZ3 clock in the SharpOS 13.4 Sharp Portal.
