Configuring manual secure state overrides from the Area view task - KONE Destination Dispatch 3.0

Before you can temporarily override secure states on a floor or landing for building maintenance or emergencies, you must configure the override in Security Center.

1. From the home page in Config Tool, open the Area view task.
2. From the entity browser, right-click on a kiosk, floor marking or destination group.
3. Select Kone Elevator Dispatch, and click on Create override.
   The Create override window opens.
4. Configure the settings in the Create security override window:

   Name

   Enter a name for this override.

   Source

   Select the kiosk that you want to apply the override to.

   Start

   Enter the date and time that the override begins.

   Duration

   Enter how long the override lasts.

   Access

   Select unsecured, as default access should be set to secured.

   Description

   Enter a description the override.

   
   
   

   NOTE: You cannot set up recurring overrides.
5. Click OK.
6. Click Apply.
