The Auditing tab displays all activities performed by your users for a specified time period. The report includes timestamp information, activity type, activity area, who performed the activity, and a details section including reason code information.
If you are an administrator with the Access auditing privilege granted, you can review all activities performed in your account. For example, you can review if any users were added or removed, or hotlists were modified, or what reason code was used while generating reports and so on.
Filters
Filters can be used to help narrow the report search results by timestamp, activity type,
activity area, performed by, and search keywords.
- Search
- Enter keywords to narrow down the audit trail you want to report.NOTE: Use double quotes to perform an exact match.
- Time range
- Search for activities within a specified time range.
- Today
- All activities performed today.
- During the last
- Activities performed during the last x minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years.
- Specific dates
- Activities performed within a specific date and time range.
- Users
- Select the users that you want to view the audit trail for.
- Activity type
- Select an activity type that you want to audit.
- Access
- Select this type to review access-based activities. For example, if you want to review all the reports generated for a specific day, select Access.
- Create
- Select this type to review creation-based activities. For example, if you want to review if any new users were created, select Create.
- Delete
- Select this type to review deletion-based activities. For example, if you want to review if any templates were deleted, select Delete.
- Execute
- Select this type to review execution-based activities. For example, if you want to review if any plate lists were imported, select Execute.
- Modify
- Select this type to review modification-based activities. For example, if you want to review if any hotlists were modified, select Modify.
- Activity area
- Select an activity area that you want to audit.
- ALPR camera
- Select this area to review any activity performed on ALPR cameras in your account.
- Action
- Select this area to review if any action was added, deleted, or modified.
- Audit report
- Select this area to review if any audit reports were generated.
- Data policies
- Select this area to review if any data policies were modified.
- Hotlist
- Select this area to review if any hotlists, or templates were added, deleted, or modified.
- Monitoring
- Select this area to review if users accessed the monitoring tab.
- Reason code
- Select this area to review reports with a reason code.
- Reporting
- Select this area to review reports generated by users.
- System access
- Select this area to review the users who accessed the system.
- User management
- Select this area to review if any changes were made to the user accounts in the system.
