To allow users to enter a search reason before generating a report, you must first configure the reason codes.

Before you begin

To configure the values, ensure that you have the Edit reason codes privilege granted. For information on how to grant the privilege, see Configuring users.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the AutoVu Cloudrunner™ portal.
  2. Click Configuration > Settings > Reason code.

  3. In the Activation section, select Reason codes activated.
  4. In the Mandatory fields, select the fields that are required for the user to enter.
  5. To add a search reason, do the following:
    1. Click Add search reason.
    2. in the text box, enter the name of the search reason.
  6. To delete an existing search reason, click .
  7. To modify an existing search reason, click the entry and edit the name in the text box.
  8. Click Save.
