You assign Security Center alarms to module events from the panel so that the people responsible for responding to the situation are notified in the Alarm monitoring task of Security Desk.
Before you begin
- Add the modules that you want to monitor in Security Center.
- Make sure the modules are assigned to the correct area.
If no alarm is set for an intrusion, the default alarm of the linked area will trigger.
What you should know
- From the Config Tool home page, open the Intrusion detection task.
- Select a Honeywell Galaxy intrusion panel from the entity browser, click on the Modules tab and select an input.
In the Alarms section, assign Security
Center alarms to
Tamper, AC, and Battery
events that are triggered by inputs.
The list of alarms to choose from is the same list configured in the Alarms task in Config Tool.
- Click Apply.
