Airport employee privileges must be defined in advance so that they can be requested as part of an airport badge application.
What you should know
You can define as many privileges as necessary. Two of them are defined by the system.
They are:
- Authorized signatory
- Grants an airport employee the authority to sign badge applications for other employees of their company. Each company represented at the airport must have at least one employee with this privilege.
- SIDA
- Grants an airport employee access to Security Identification Display Areas (SIDA). Employees who have the Authorized signatory privilege must also be granted the SIDA privilege.
