The authorized signatory is the first employee you must add for any airport company.
You add authorized signatories to your system as regular employees. An employee is
automatically recognized by the badging system as an authorized signatory when the following
criteria are met:
- Must have a valid email address.
- Must have the Authorized signatory and SIDA privileges.
- Must have passed the Criminal History Record Check (CHRC).
- Must have passed the Security Threat Assessment (STA).
- Must have completed the Authorized signatory training.
- Must have completed the SIDA training.
- Must have an valid airport ID badge.
Authorized signatories are marked by this icon () in the
AS column of the employee list in the Airport badging
management task.
When an employee is recognized as an authorized signatory by the badging system, the later creates a Genetec ClearID™ account for this employee. The employee then receives an ACCOUNT NOTIFICATION email from Genetec ClearID™, giving them the URL to log on to the Genetec ClearID™ web portal.
