Configuring hostname address resolution for Bosch units - Security Center 5.11.0.0

For Security Center to automatically reestablish a connection after a unit's IP address has changed, you must assign a hostname to the unit and configure the unit to use Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

1. Open the unit's web page.
2. Expand Advanced mode > Network > Network Access.
3. In the DynDNS section, beside Host name, enter a hostname for the camera.
4. Add the unit to Security Center.
5. From the Video task in Config Tool, select the camera to configure then click Properties.
6. Beside IP address, select Obtain network settings dynamically (DHCP) .
7. Click Apply.
