If you need to transfer existing deployed cameras to the SUNAPI driver, you can restore factory default settings for the unit or delete all fixed profiles.

What you should know

It is only recommended to migrate to the new driver if there are issues with the existing integration of the unit.

Procedure

To restore factory default settings on the unit:

  1. Remove the camera from the system, but keep the video files.
  2. On the unit's web page, factory default the camera.
  3. When the camera is back online do the following if required:
    1. Configure crop profiles.
NOTE: You must select cropped profiles before re-adding the unit.
    2. Enable audio input on event profile.
    3. Enable audio output.
    4. Enable IVA.
NOTE: Not all of the configuration steps are required. For more information see the manufacturer's documentation.
  4. Add the camera to Security Center using the Product type WiseNet.
  5. Run the unit replacement tool to associate old recordings with the new camera.

To delete fixed profiles on the unit:

  1. Remove the camera from the system, but keep the video files.
  2. Open the unit's web page.
  3. In the Profiles page, delete all profiles.
The only remaining profiles are the ones that come with a factory default.
  4. Add the camera to Security Center using the Product type WiseNet.
  5. Run the unit replacement tool to associate old recordings with the new camera.
