You must configure the Panasonic WV-CU650 and CU950 Ethernet keyboard before using it in Security Desk.

Before you begin

Unplug the keyboard.

Procedure

  1. On the back of the controller, set Mode selection switches 1, 4, and 5 to ON.
  2. On the back of the controller, set the CONTROLLER NO to 1.
  3. Plug the controller into a power source.
  4. Turn on the power while holding down the MON (ESC), O and CAM (SET) buttons.
    The LCD display will prompt you for a password.

  5. Enter the administrator password.
    The factory default is 650.
    NOTE: To delete a character, press the clear button.
    If the password was entered correctly, The IP Address setting will appear on the LCD display.
  6. To edit the default IP address, press the CAM (SET) button, and enter a unique IP address for the controller.
    NOTE: Use the Shuttle Ring to move the cursor.

  7. Rotate the JogDial until Subnet Mask appears on the LCD display, then press the CAM (SET) button to edit the default setting. Enter a Subnet Mask.
  8. Use the JogDial and the CAM (SET) button to edit of the following items:
    Gateway
    Enter a Gateway address.
    Keyboard ID
    Leave this at the default setting (1).
    Server IP Address
    IP Address where Security Center is running.
    Server ID
    Leave this at the default setting (1).
  9. Press the MON (ESC) button to complete the setup.
